Councillors are reminded of the next meeting of the Parish Council on Wednesday 6th April, 7.30pm at the Parish Hall
Agenda
1. Apologies received in respect of the meeting
2. Declarations of Interest – to receive Declarations of Interests from Councillors of any disclosable, pecuniary, or other Interests in items on the agenda
3. Minutes – to confirm and agree the signing of the minutes of the meeting held on the 2nd March, and update actions agreed.
4. Correspondence and Communications – to include a summary of C&C received by the Chair and Clerk
5. Public Session – (15 minutes) – Parishioners questions. It would be appreciated if notice of intended questions could be emailed to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting, on westleigh.clerk@gmail.com
6. County and District Ward Members reports – in person or via email
7. Finance – to receive an update on the current financial position of Westleigh Parish Council, and agree payments
8. Village/Neighbourhood Plan – progress report
9. Queen’s Jubilee – now cancelled as a Parish celebration, but a Summer Celebration will take place in early September at Tapeley
10. Planning matters – none received
11. Defibrillator training – Booked for the 20th April, 7-8pm at the Parish Hall (35 limit)
12. Highway issues – potholes at junction of Westleigh and Instow road
13. Councillor training and refresher training
14. Environmental issues – proposal to purchase swallow and nesting boxes. To determine the composition of the hedge management committee.
15. Agenda items for the next meeting (Wednesday 4th May)
16. Notice - AGM will precede normal Council meeting at 7pm on the 4th May
