WESTLEIGH PARISH

TREYHILL FARMHOUSE

This is exactly the sort of place to come and stay if you want a countryside escape. We offer a kind of rustic decadence to our guests. It’s a wellies and fizz sort of place really.

You won’t find WiFi in the gypsy caravan, or flat-screens in the bedrooms. In fact, we are so unplugged, that we have a wind up gramophone in the dining room. Treyhill is about simple pleasures. Reading by the wood-burner in the autumn. Swimming in the sea. Exploring rock-pools and crabbing off the quay wall across the water in Appledore. Enjoying divine, locally made Hockings Ice-Creams or a delicious Cream Tea after a ramble with the dog on Instow Beach.

There are three lovely bright bedrooms with garden views. Thyme cottage is our hidden getaway, joined to the farm house by a secret passage. A gypsy bowtop, classic caravan, bell tent and a converted sailing boat sit within the grounds and offer unique glamping adventures.

At this Grade II listed house, luxury egyptian linens and REN bathroom products await. A very very full english breakfast featuring home-grown eggs is served around a large dining table. You can expect a warm welcome, tailor made tips on what to do, places to eat and even activities such as a ride in a hay trailer behind our vintage tractor or a boat picnic with Tim as your guide to the river Torridge.
