WELCOME TO WESTLEIGH PARISH

Dating from Saxon times, Westleigh is a small North Devon village mentioned in the Doomsday book.

The village lies in an elevated position overlooking the Taw and Torridge Estuary. Located within easy walking distance of the Tarka Trail and Taw and Torridge estuary, the tiny village of Westleigh boasts a population of only about 100. It occupies a quiet, elevated site where cottages cluster around the church, the Inn and the cricket field. On clear days, views of the coast can extend as far as Lundy island.

There are several places in the Village where you can stay or close by from which you can enjoy the North Devon coastline, the Tarka Trail, Tapley House, Rosemore Gardens, Lundy Island and many other beautiful and interesting places. We look forward to your visit.
